About OU's Lean, Six Sigma and SCOR Programs

OU offers a wide variety of classes, combining aspects of Lean, Six Sigma and SCOR to fit the specific needs of each client organization. 

We tailor our training to the specific needs of every organization that we work with, selecting the tools most appropriate for resolving issues within that organization.

Our programs can range in scope from introductory lectures, to continuous training and certification programs and we are happy to fit our services to the needs of our clients.  

It is especially notable that the application of our techniques almost always produces results that have the additional benefit of being environmentally friendly, such as reducing energy usage, or eliminating physical paper waste. Whether you see the primary benefit of Lean as monetary or ecological, these resources are closely tied together in applying Lean principles.

OU Lean Course Credits

We offer both general Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits and Professional Development Units (PDU) for people maintaining their Project Management Professional certification. CEU/PDU credits are based on the number of hours the student spends in the classroom for each of the courses.

The OU Lean Institute also offers Lean Rapid Improvement Events

Our staff will spend several days working directly with the employees of an organization, helping them learn

• how their organization really works and
• how they can utilize their experience to re-structure and optimize the workplace

We offer the bulk of our training programs at Rose State College’s Professional Development Center, as well as OU Health Science Center campus. We also work with clients to offer training programs at their facilities when this is preferred.
