Lean/Six Sigma Executive Overview (1 day)

A combination of our Lean Executive and Six Sigma Executive courses, this program is designed for participants selected by the company for their knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and their abilities to contribute to continuous improvement processes throughout the organization.  

This comprehensive course prepares your team of executives to facilitate the Lean/Six Sigma journey, to review the curriculum and delivery of Lean/Six Sigma strategies and to lead the transformation efforts in your company.

Who Should Attend:  Participants selected by the company for their knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and their abilities to contribute to the review of the curriculum and delivery within the enterprise and to provide leadership and champion projects.

Objective:  At the end of the course, participants will know the reasons for Lean/Six Sigma change and the basic elements of Lean/Six Sigma change. They will also know their own roles and importance in the transformation process. Learn about the basic methods and tools of Lean and Six Sigma:

  • Understand Lean and Six Sigma concepts, the fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma methods, and the tools of Lean and Six Sigma
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities that support Continuous Improvement programs
  • Develop performance metrics and potential improvement projects that support transformation efforts

Topics:  This workshop presents the basic building blocks of Lean/Six Sigma production/support systems, after background development in an integrated SCOR, Lean, Six Sigma approach and the two alternative approaches to production: craft and mass production. Includes Six Sigma methods and programs: Methods - An introduction to Six Sigma methods, the DMAIC model and how they integrate with Lean and SCOR; Programs - Establishing Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement Programs. Purpose of the workshop is to provide executives the knowledge and skills needed to lead the transformation.
