Facilitators (1 day)

In order for an organization to improve its processes, it must have clear communication, productive idea generation, creative problem-solving techniques and effective implementation skills.  As the information age expands, it is critical for those with Lean knowledge to understand group process dynamics and how to enhance communication within work groups.  This program prepares organizations to take charge of their future Lean/Six Sigma projects by having internal team members trained to guide the organization on the Lean journey.

Who Should Attend:  Employees with knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and the abilities to contribute to the review of the curriculum and delivery of transformation within the enterprise. Employees should be go-getters who wish to provide leadership and champion projects.

Objective:  At the end of the course, participants will understand the Lean/Six Sigma strategies and tools, the relationship of the transformation components of Lean and Six Sigma, how to facilitate process improvement projects and how to lead and deploy Lean/Six Sigma process improvement tools effectively. Each Facilitator will be able to:

  • Understand and articulate the purpose and goals of using Lean/Six Sigma strategies within the context of the enterprise
  • Develop knowledge of the specific Lean/Six Sigma deployment strategies that will be implemented within the enterprise
  • Competently and confidently apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and tools
  • Facilitate communications and transformation project within the organization

Topics:  This workshop presents the basic building blocks of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and tools for practical application. Following the workshop, participants will maintain and improve the facilitation and implementation of Lean/Six Sigma transformation processes within the organization.
