Lean Mid-level (2 days)
With an emphasis on the knowledge and skills needed to implement the Lean transformation and oversee it effectively, this program prepares your team of mid-level employees to take active roles in continuous process improvement and transformation throughout your enterprise. Moreover, this mid-level-based course serves as a way to connect everyday employees with varying degrees of management in a concerted effort to promote and implement Lean transformation across all levels of the organization.
Who Should Attend: Mid-level managers who will be responsible for promoting and facilitating company transformation through process improvement.
Objective: Participants will learn the reasons for Lean change and the basic elements of Lean change. They will also know their own roles and importance in the transformation process and learn how to utilize Lean strategies on mid-management levels.
Topics: This workshop presents the basic building blocks of Lean production/support systems after background development in an integrated SCOR, Lean, Six Sigma approach and the two alternative approaches to production: craft and mass production. Purpose of the workshop is to provide managers the knowledge and skills needed to implement the transformation and oversee it effectively.
